Art Fillet by Susan Longbottom

ARTIST NOTES: 'Art Fillet'...the bright, bold redness in this painting enhances the artistic quality of an otherwise 'bloody' task, that of fish filleting. Hands grasp the Nanoguy fish as a filleting knife severs a fillet of flesh from its skeleton. It lies on a bloodied surface of reds and even more reds...that contrast with the textured scales in whites, oranges and reds.
