Adelaide born aritst Maryann Nankivell was servely bullied and harassed at school as a child, trhought her traumatic childhoood she struggled to find a way to express herself in the world which surrounded her. She had to art as a way to break from her traumatic pass and anixety. At the age of 15, Nankivell, started to incorporate birds into her art work and also, she manages to capture the cheeky personality of birds in each peice of work.
