Born in Box Hill .in 1952, Julie Lundgren-Coulter as always held a keen interest in painting and drawing. Many trips to the Herald Outdoor Art Show with her grandmother and recognition for her artistic talents at primary school further encouraged Julie's desire to be an artist.
In 1975 Julie married Alan, a farmer from Mardan in South Gippsland Victoria. The unique South Gippsland environment, the natural beauty of coastal views and the serenity of the rural vistas, is the focus of Julie's works, currently Julie is exploring the medium of pastels, enjoying the strong colour, contrast and the freedom this brings to her landscapes.
