Polish artist/designer that immigrated to Australia in 2007. Her work is inspired by nature in all its forms. Her paintings often represent personal, psychological feelings and struggle between man and nature. She often uses mixed media, including collage technique. In the past couple of years she found herself experimenting with textures and materials such glass, wax and fibre-glass, creating three dimensional effects.
Patrycja obtained a Master's Degree in Graphic Design and Honours in visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw

Influences Her great inspiration have been American abstract expressionists, mainly Jackson Pollock and Sam Francis. "My creativity resembles a growing tree of a film about life in general. It has many single branches but it leads in one particular direction, searching for new means of expression and new values. Artistic picture of my feelings and experiences transformed by my consciousness, giving different synthetic form - abstract dimension". |
