Greg Allen has been a professional watercolour painter for nearly forty years, having had many solo and group exhibitions both in Australia and overseas. He has won the famed Camberwell Watercolour Prize five times as well as its Travel Grant (1982). More recently, teaching has taken a greater role, with regular classes in Melbourne and interstate, and overseas workshops with the Travelrite International group.
